Likely location of Japanese anti-aircraft guns during WW2.
It was the home of the USAF Civic Action Team too
Spent a few months at the site with a USAF Civic Action Team (CAT92-02) in 1992.
Had some elderly Japanese soldiers visit while I was there. They were stationed on the hill. Very interesting.
FEMA and our team delivered water to surrounding islands affected by a severe drought that year. Of course, it rained in the middle of operations.
Looks more like a PAK 50 fighter monument than a F-22 fighter monument in the foreground. PAK 50 is Russo/Chinese. F-22 is US. Just courious how that monument when I noticed the aircraft statue/model that's all.
