It no way near geneva, this canal is viewed from the train in Yverdon. It is more than a hundred miles away from geneva, its is in canton Vaud just along the Neuchatel's lake.
remember in Switzerland 100 miles is one third of the length of the country. it is not like crossing the texan prairies...
