That American Armstrong came to Paisley a couple of weeks ago Bernard, and invited local cyclists to come for a ride with him. Over 100 bikers jammed the High street and the cops told them to get on their way,so he led them on a 15 kilometre trip to Glasgow, then took off and left them to make their own way back. I have no idea what it was all about, unless it was about the fact that we Scots invented the Cycle and Tyre, but then I think we invented anything worth Having. It.s a pity we are not very good at using them.LOL cheers scally.
