Taken using D70s with 70-300mm dinosaur 'G' type lens (non VR). This falcon and its partner appear to be inhabiting the local area surrounding the quarry and beyond. They are currently courting, and hopefully the quarry may soon be ringing with the sounds of hungry chicks!

Thanks, Craig. Yep, I wanted to mention the 'G' suffix so people knew it was the older lens not the fancy pants new 'VR' type...but at least now I know where the 'G' comes from. Cheers, Craig.
