Wish I could tell him myself! I have a huge thing for owls. Long ago, when I was 20, living in Los Angeles, eating a burger at the_Yellow Submarine_, I spied across the street the Sorcerer's Shoppe, so I wandered over and inside this trippy store was a huge wrought iron cage with a very large owl named King Solomon. We had quite a conversation/ connection, and 40+ years later, living in my 4th Owl Cottage, my special memory of King Solomon is as fresh as ever. Some ancients believed that owls protect the souls of women - I like to think so! Your grand duke image brought on this flood of memory :O)

many thanks kartson !

Suzi many thanks for telling your own owl story. I'm glad my picture made you think about it :)
