This looks like it could be from Vermont or northern New Hampshire, U.S.A. It is not unusual to see a small building (usually a little smaller than this) tucked into the trees on a hillside. In the spring, the buildings, called "sugar shacks" are used to gather sap from maple trees and boil it to make maple syrup and maple sugar. Mmmmm...and expensive!
