From the left the skyline consists of the lower slopes of Pillar, High Crag, the bulk of Kirk Fell before the pyramid of Great Gable, Lingmell and Scafell.
Looks like a good place for a long days walk with excellent views!.
Thanks Snemann and Dave, the mountains around Wast Water offer the highest, roughest and most beautiful walking in England. Illgill head is a fairly easy excursion on mainly grassy slopes with fine views of the bigger fells.
