If I see this steep and high mountain then I hardly can believe that this is in UK. But OK, it is called "Highland" and as your photo shows it carries this name justly.

There are plenty of steep, but not very high mountains in Scotland (highest Ben Nevis only 1344 mtrs) but the lack of height doesn't mean that winter climbs can't often become difficult because of the atrocious weather that can suddenly bring cold,wet,freezing conditions with very low visibility! Appropriate Christmas Greetings again with this snowy picture!-miskish
