How dare I clutter Panoramio with yet another photo of this famous monument? But I thought the scaffolding made an interesting contrast!
Yes it realy does!
I think this is a very unique photo Marilyn, due to the scaffold! And it's a beautiful shot as well!
Best wishes, Ria
Nice photo and beautiful place.
This is a very famous place. Great photo.
Beautiful picture of the famous monument, Marilyn! Greetings, Anne
You are forgiven, Marilyn. You couldn't be in Rio and don't show us the Christ. I would too!!;-))
Indeed it does, Marilyn. I was there a few years ago and amazed at how big it was once I reached the top. Nice capture.
Thanks for the link, Rapi, and for giving me "permission" to post this, Ria, GyurIca, Luca, Kéri Sándor, Anne, Daniela, and Juli. It is an impressive monument!
A place where I'd like to go too one time.
I went only to the "smaller brother" on Madeira Island.
It's worth a trip, poly! But I like your photo, too.
Hello Marilyn, you are right, these scafoldings around the base remained a long time, until beginning of march, but the new ones, surrounding the whole statue, grew in a little week ! I don't know how long they will remain. Anyway, it's an interesting effect. Greeting Annick
Thank you Marilyn for your great photos from South America. Sorry I left too many messages, I tried to contain myself :-) I'm glad I still have a lot of photos left to view. Greetings, Urszula.
