This is not a photo of Rum Village as indicated on the map, its a photo taken from Rum Visitor Centre, which is further north up the valley. rum village is a dot on the horizon, on the bit of desert between the two mountains - Jebel um Ishrin on the left (E) and Jebel Rum on the right (W), Tony H
