Pamela Elbert Poland, on October 3, said:

Built in 1892 as the private residence of Charles & Katie Eisenbeis and was known as Eisenbeis Castle. In 1927 it was purchased by Jesuit monks and used as a training college called Manresa Hall. In 1968 the building became a hotel. It is said one of the monks committed suicide there and a young woman jumped from the second floor tower room. There are reports of eerie feelings around certain rooms, glassware exploding in the bar, TVs that turn off and on at will, and a young boy in dark torn clothing staring out of one of the upper windows.
