Lost Gypsy at Papatowai gallery and my bicycle (below)
Hello Tom, I have been through many of your New Zealand shots and have still to get to Fiordland. You have many nice and interesting shots - from your bike you have captured so many places and things that are missed from a car. I like this one; your bike and the lost gypsy - a nice combination. I will visit your Fiordland shots when I have more time.
I really appreciate the comments you have made in my gallery and I am glad you've found it nice and interesting! Yes, I prefere biking for the reasons you have point out. And I love close contact with weather changes, although it could be unpleasant... My battle-shout is: "No matter wheather adventure is right or wrong - but it should be strong!" :-)
Hello David, thank you for your visit and comments! You are right, NZ sun is able to burnt even through the thick clouds. It's hard to buy here sunscreen with weaker protection factor then 35+ (!). I used it so I stayed pale, but I have got sunbumbs anyway.
Don't be affraid... Next plan is for Southern America (and maybe with North America in one row). Would you like to join? ;-) I plan to make it in next 2-3 years...
Sounds great!
It's you on one of the photos in indicated blog?
Yes, I know, it's essential to have good friend with you, especially when you are together month or more, sometimes in extreme situations. Cannot be arranged as "blind date", you have to travel together on some shorter track first. If it's you on the photo, I see you could be in my age, but more athletic constitution. I want to enjoy my trips in slow speed. :)
BTW, you can find some photos from my short bike trip to Albania here too!
Iran is great challenge (a lot of deserts, high mountains...). Definitely place I would not do alone. Well, Asia destinations are also on my list, but on second line... :)

Hello Dimitris, indeed it was great! Zealand is wonderfull country.
BTW - most photos of mine are made when travelling on bicycle. This is my usual load from 2 month trip :)
From longer expeditions: I did Zealand (2x) and trip from Poland to Nordkapp (Norway) and back to Prague.
Cheers, Tom
