What a dynamic bend in this valley focused by the sunlight, Ryan! Only a few hours time per day to collect the light. Oh, how much I'd love to go down there and see the vegetation and the river with the certainity and the happy feeling to get up again to the heights, before the night falls in. YS!
Thank you Nicolas, Gerry, and May! The name Zion was the second name given to the canyon, before it was a national park. The original name was Mukuntuweap, about a hundred years ago. I think they made a good decision in changing the name. :)
Great shot, Ryan!
I found your Panoramio page in your Phototrack page. Do you still have Phototrack for 32 thumbnails, as Panoramio has changed again?
If so, pls send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you in advance!
Best regards from Brazil!
Breathtaking (in more than one way)!
nice view, nice picture!
Looks like "Follow the Bend in the Road" (to the tune of "Follow the Yellow Brick Road").
I'm glad they changed the name, too! Love it!
