I see hugging people ... or soccer players, forming a wall in front of the goal to fend the adverse free kick.
rosina lamberti, on June 11, 2007, said:
l see the hugging people also some very shy people, but the essence of the photo is the craving on the left hand side Luv u for life and that we should all cherish our beautiful trees for future generations. So then indeed we can all love them for life :)
©polytropos, on June 11, 2007, said:
Yes, I agree. And of course I saw the craving too, but I saw it on the right hand side ... is this the reason why you're called "Down Under"? ;-)
rosina lamberti, on June 11, 2007, said:
that may also explain why l'm always getting lost :)
©polytropos, on June 11, 2007, said:
But the photgraphic results of your "getting losts" are really worth seeing.

You can imagine so many story's to go with this image. A young lover's earnest confession. A parents statement of love for a child. A grieving persons promise to someone who is not their anymore. Then again, maybe someone just Really likes this tree.

Gosh, what a photo! I'd love this framed on my wall. You asked me about which island was best to visit first in New Zealand. I think the North Island is definatly more of a summer destination with its varied coastline of harbours, bays, inlets, estuarys, and beachs that range from dramtic and wild to quaint and picturesque. The South Island is simply good all year round from top to bottom. Snow is the predominant feature on the landscape there at this time of year.

A "natural abstract". It is interesting to compare the three pics of the trees at the fitzroy gardens. The sense of depth (visual) has increased from the first one to this one. The organic and geometric patterns are perfectly balanced. Definitiely the best in this series,
Congratulations Rosina.

Amazing Photograph,Rosina. I remember...fitzroy gardens...hugging people...they are helpless creatures, and they send a very strong ethical message. If you cover the written (upper right) with your hand, the mind go to center photo and the image increases the message, with better empathy: the written (upper right _luv u for life) is made by a man and perhaps can be considered a wound to the tree...The message arrives from a man not from the tree. Synthesis is Respect. When you design a tree, you are this tree. This shot is beautiful and the observer is obligated to stop and think. Rosina, congratulaions for your gallery ->favorites

Hi, I follow the comments of the nice people before. But I want to say something about the appearence of the photo. It has lost the superstructure and the scene is restructuring itself in a new context. This is absolutly great. If anybody can see something different than it is working. Even with the sentence there is room for many ways of understanding the picture. You made a great job on the colours. There is something to think about in the picture. It sure will be there when the next visitor arrives.
Greetings,
Carsten
