This beautiful Lily has a delicious scent - I have never seen a double version of this particular striped Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) before.

Anne - Thank you for the nice compliment, this Lily was single when I got it in bud last year, and now it is a double one, with another bud appearing - so I'm very pleased!! But I have had to bring it into the house as the rainwind was starting to bruise it.

Warm wishes, Hazel

This shot is breathtakingly beautiful!! Really amazingly good Hazel! Sharp in all details of the flower. Not to speak about the flower itself, which is also perfectly shaped and coloured. I can imagine that you put the lily inside the house to keep it save. It's a jewel!

Greetings from Ria

Wat een baie mooie bloem laat je hier zien Hazel. Leuk detail vind ik het bloemetjesgordijn op de achtergrond.

Lovely flower shot Hazel. Nice light and perfect detail. I can imagine you wanting to keep it safe from the rain and wind and you will also have the lovely scent in your house.

This is fantastic. One of the sharpest pictures I've seen today.

whoelius on October 17, 2009

And pink is my favourite colour so I'm a bit biased.

Leo Roundtree on October 31, 2009

Hazel,

You guessed it, my "favorite". I give up! :)))
