Andre - there was a wonderful irony to this shot - a little further on the road goes nearly vertical and deeply rutted, yet there's no warning sign for that! - but thanks - it was always a bit hairy driving the Karoo back-roads towards sunset because of having to get back home safe in the dark (rather tricky driving) mentioned above - especially in an old road car - three cheers for VW!
