In 1999 i was also in that region (Death valley) and Graaf Reinet. Great place ! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures of South Africa. In 1999 i had only a reflex camera canon FTB. Digital didn't exit at that time.

thanks for your deluge of comments, Jacques - the SA pics were taken on good old slide film - but I did have the advantage of a medium format Pentax 67 - I just had to wait until last year for there to be a scanner (Epson perfection 4990)thay could handle the trannies without breaking the bank.
