This is beautiful, Bruce. Even though this photo was taken in spring, it makes me miss winter and snow, especially since it's getting so hot. A yellow star!
Great shot with great light, Indeed.
Thank you Eve and Lukas -- this is becoming one of my favorites -- I still can't believe I got up at 4:30 that morning to take this photo, a very rare thing for me 8^)
Bruce, I thought you'd be an early riser! Some of your photos look like they were taken in early light.
I can't resist telling you that four-thirty is my normal 'wake up' time.
As Eve says, views like this makes me miss winter, just a little.
Don't worry Snemann (and Eve) the snow will be back soon enough.
Greetings Bruce, The air conditioner is broken and the lab is sweltering, so this helps me to remember what cool is. Thanks for sharing. By the way, I saw snow on Longs Peak last Monday, although I am sure it is gone by now.
I still get shivers remembering that cold June morning -- Rich! Can't believe y'all are ready for the snow again. It won't be long now.

Thanks for the star Moose, and for bringing me back for another look at this too.
Thank you DT -- although it looks like winter, I took this photo on an early June morning. By noon, most of this fresh snow had melted.
Greetings from California.
