I know its hard to beleive but that particular Heron was determined to get in my shots. I was actually trying to get shots of Salmon leaping up the falls. he would catch an eel just out of shot at the bottom of the picture then fly back upstream to eat them then come back for more, I got more accidental shots of him than deliberate shots of salmon. I was using Undas Nikon because its much faster than my fuji but the salmon were faster most of the time.

thanks Ghislain, remember to send those Herons back to Scotland. I shouldnt complain, its only been a week since I started using my tripod. I suspect a tripod isnt going to help much with most wildlife shots anyway.
