Thank you so much Stephan, I took this shot using a middle-tele lens because i noticed that far storm. It was the first time i used a middle-tele for lightnings instead of the usual wideangle. I opened the shutter (f10) and i was lucky because i had to wait only a few sconds for that lightning. After that i closed the shutter because i realized that it was a good lightning so i didn't wait to risk for another unwanted lightning. Some technical data Canon 300 D, 76mm (equivalent to a 125 mm on a film camera), f10, ISO 200, exposure time 19 seconds... and luck for a spectacular lightining!

I love the clouds behind the lightning, and the central glow where it appears to originate. And the amazing dark shadowy artifacts on the top of the building on the right. Simply beautiful.

Grazie @ido, un po' di esperienza e TANTA pazienza aiutano molto. Considera che non sono ancora riuscito a far di meglio nonostante questa estate abbia tentato di tutto. I fulmini parevano sapere dove era puntata la macchina fotografica perchè cadevano sempre FUORI dall'inquadratura e quando spostavo la macchina verso la zona "buona" i fulmini andavano dall'altra parte.... grrr
