Meryl and I are leaving Tuesday for a week in Las Vegas and the Canyon Lands of Arizona and Utah during which time Henry will be staying with his "dad" (our son). I'm sure the separation will be harder on Meryl and me than on him. I can see her calling every day to talk to him :)

Henry thanks you for the hugs and kisses. He would write himself, but he is outside with Meryl as we speak. He really has gotten fond of going out on his leash as he knows that's the only way his feet will touch the ground.

By the way, it is cold here tonight. An Arctic blast is dropping our temp to 15! I'll be glad to get to Arizona Tuesday.
