Isn't it a relief, Anita, that Panoramio returned to normal! It was a mysterious time. Thanks for using the little frog to send me a message, and thanks more for your generous words.

Perhaps I have a snapshot of me with standing beside old Ford. I'll look in an album and see. Best wishes, Marilyn

What a beautiful photo. It shows how small must the world be for this frog. Thank you for sharing it. Greetings from Bavaria, Germany.

Thank you, Martin. Our guide knew just where to hunt for one, so I believe it is a small world indeed. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.

Marilyn, I don't know how I missed this one of yours - it is astounding! Simply stunning! An older one I see from your conversations above, but then, beauty has no age ;) I love everything about this - the color, composition, placement of the frog in the image, the frog itself, the 'pods'... I came to visit your recent gallery and to send you a link, but got sidetracked by this lovely golden frog. Thank you for sharing your find.

Not related, but I thought of you with a recent conversation regarding this by mossip, not just because it has a story behind it about a Canadian, but the way in which mossip told it and also because I simply thought you might enjoy the beautiful image.

I will now get myself back on track and visit your new posts... Best always, alicia

Many, many thanks, Alicia, for your lovely comment. I know the delight of finding an overlooked "older" image in someone's collection, and I am very glad that you share the feeling. I feel very fortunate to have this photo. I got our first digital camera just before that trip. It now seems primitive, and we've relegated it to the role of emergency back-up. But it did the job here!

Thank you, too, for sending the link to mossip's beautiful photo. Very best wishes, Alicia.

Isn't it amazing how fast our technology progress makes things go obsolete? I don't think I would ever let go of that camera - your photo is so very crisp in your selected area. Absolutely magnificent photo - I could stare at it for hours.

Mossip's gallery is an amazing representation of Scotland - I'm glad you visited and it's a wonderful place to browse when you have time. -alicia

Yes, Alicia, the little camera is going along as a back-up. And since it's weatherproof (though not waterproof), I may give it some use while we're at a lodge in the rainforest of Ecuador. Marilyn

Thanks for your comments, Wendy, bram_be, and Ezio. I am especially pleased since I took this during my first week with a digital camera (though I had used film for many, many years).

Cheers, Marilyn

Nice entry for the NPC, Marilyn! You've got so many nice animal shots, I really have been wondering which one you'd enter!.

Could you edit your post to add the Entry Number of #37?

Thanks! Good Luck!
