Ainars, I guess, now is a time to make a folder ('tag') of Latvian Crosses, please do it! You have already few very nice items of this theme.

OK, these "round crosses" in Latvia are rarity (I bought new book on this topic- only in 20 places they remained). Both in Tsars' time in beginning of 20th century and also in Soviet time all such kind "witnesses of German conquerors" were specially destroyed.

Town was destroyed 17th century, but cemetery remained in previous place. It means- before town was destroyed

Actually, according to drawings of 18th century - there were several round crosses, including one "celtic".

They were destroyed except some, removed to local museum. This one probably is a copy- from beginning of 20th century.
