I'm guessing a vineyard! Great textures in your window. Overall very pleasing to the eye1

It is a view of a vineyard across the Rhine from the castle ruin at St Goar. I need to do a bit of research to find the name of the castle. We saw so many, the names are getting all mixed up.

And I confess to a bit of Picasorcery with this. There are some nasty bars across this window, to stop the foolish from falling down the cliff into the river. They wrecked the pretty picture, so I vamoosed them. :D

beauty frame Lisa. i like the mix of linearity, horizontals around the perimeter and verticals in the center. it would be a good subject for b&w with one element in color, methinks.

Best, lew

Thanks lew. You may be right. I love the colour of the old stone. I don't have the technology to just remove the green, so it'll have to stay as it is.

I really love the framing. This is a great shot of the vineyard.
