The synagogue from the year 1180 was built in the Mudéjar style. The five naves of the building are separated by horseshoe bows. After expulsion of the Jews in the 15-th century the construction was used as church.

Die Synagoge aus dem Jahre 1180 wurde im Mudéjar-Stil erbaut. Die fünf Schiffe des Gebäudes sind durch Hufeisenbögen abgegrenzt. Nach Vertreibung der Juden im 15. Jahrhundert wurde der Bau als Kirche genutzt.

You are right, Mahdi, the building is really impressive. The former Jewish Synagogue was build in the same style than a Mosque (in that time Toledo was governed by Islamic Arabs) and later used as a Christian Church. Thank you very much for your nice comment.
