Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri), probably ssp. manillensis which is the race that breeds in peninsula India south of 20N. This is a female, without a coloured neck ring. As for size vis-a-vis a Cockatiel (33cm), it is a bit bigger ranging from 38-43cm long.
