The picture is fabulous, frtzw906.
Very nice shot. Greetings,Günter.
Thank you willi-bremen and gtzschach.
It was a wind still day and I was able to drift very slowly onto the rocky end of this little islet. With the slow drift, the birds got used to my presence and didn't seem to be afraid at all. I used the burst feature of my camera (about 3 fps) to take about 300 frames. At least one of them had to turn out OK, eh?
Really beautiful Photo. Greetings Dalibor
Thanks for visiting DaliborDelibasic. The eyes and the beaks of these birds really do stand out. Too bad I can't include the high-pitched "squeal" of these birds. You generally hear them before you see them.
Olá frtzw906,esta foto é sensacional mesmo!!parabéns!!Bom Fim de Semana pra vc!..abraço...Hélio,

Thanks for your visit, Ritva.
What beautiful black birds, frtzw. In Germany the Oystercatcher = Austernfischer and they are coloured black and white.
Many greetings, Karin
