It is lovely there. I have never had a bad meal there. And I've had loads! Great shot.

Hi AXOTA and Sħrieve Why do I think you are both called Si ???

I have ate here and stayed overnight a few times and really love the place. I especially like how it used to be a farm and they now sell a wine called Oomoo!

Best regards

The family's life long investment in it's herd of the finest cattle was wiped out in the early 2000s in the wake of the foot and mouth disease..The virus was not found in any of their herd..Unfortunately under the Contiguous rule, their beasts were culled..It broke the family's heart as they cared for their animals with much fondness and they vowed never to return to tending their herds..Some time after receiving government compensation, this was the way forward for them..They have never looked back since..

Thanks Jim I was under the impression it changed due to a fire destroying almost everything.

I first stayed there about 25 years ago when it was just a B+B on the farm. It was not like a B+B but as though the farmer had asked us to stay with him. I remember sitting round an old range with the farmers wife and staying in an old panelled bedroom, the whole room was on a slope!

Happy days!

Thank you for one of the best images of this place, Kenny And Jim, I knew of the fall and rise, but not in this detail. Really is heart rendering.

Popular, shot, Kenny... Mid-ninehundreds!
