This land and trees burned on Black Saturday in February. The river shown on the GE map is under minor flood warning today. GE shows a small dam here, but it has been dry for years.

Hello Danny, Matti, Bits and who - this was a pretty sight, the river over its banks, with just a minor flood, but such a welcome contrast after the devastation in February. This flank of the fires burned on and on through houses and vineyards, but just outside the northern part of the town many lives were lost. We still need lots more rain, just not all at once. H

Hey m - yes a flood by the bridge at YG - it was great to see......what a contrast to earlier. I took lots of pics for you. Will email them. After a week in the 30's it'll be back to bone dry again.
