Thank you Paolo! Il tuo link non ha funzionato così ho bisogno del numero della foto. Che il piccino lì seduto allerta tutti i suoi amici e non in movimento. :)

Hi dianne. The one in the next picture does too. I guess they are only cute from a distance. Thank you for your visit and comments.

He looks like he's about to sneeze. But I think he's cute anyway.

He does, doesn't he? He is actually warning the other prairie dogs to get below NOW.

davehermon on September 30, 2009

I've always thought that the only reason people think of them as 'cute' is because we call them 'dogs' - based on my experience, they should be called 'Prairie Rats' dave hermon

dave - Spoken like a true Colorado rancher! I think they are cute but not too photogenic! :)

Great warning shot!

Funny, I love prairie dogs and think they are so fun to watch. But here we hate pocket golfers! Guess it is different when you have to live with them & the damage they do in your fields!

larry e walton on October 2, 2009

he's got a look on his face like something has a grip on his nether regions.

mardrl on October 2, 2009

Lol maybe that is why he didn't move. :)

--JF** They are fun to watch but they sure create havoc on farms and ranches. We have pocket gophers too.

Greetings, Ritva
