Really nice picture, I like it and
the trees as natural frame too.
Seems to be a wonderful place!
It is a wonderful place and I'd love to see the great photos that you would take there. But more directly across from the falls than this you'd need to be very careful of your camera. It can be clear one moment and very, very misty and wet the next!
And that old fence is all that stands between you and a very deep drop!!
I visited the Victoria Falls in March 1964; I was 12 years old then! I am still in awe of them. The falls are in full flood in March/April and almost completely DRY in October/November.
Our visit was in June (2006), and the rainy season had been good, so we were fortunate to see them with lots of water. Yes, they are awe-producing!
What a wonderful photo!! Bring back many happy memories........NO other sight like it in the world.......
I'm glad it brought back good memories. It is a wonderful and unique sight!
The drop the other side of the "fence" is a completely vertical drop of 350 feet. Straight into the water below & the volcanic basalt rocks underneath; no chance of survival at all!
I shudder to think of it! Thanks for your comment and greetings from Canada.
