Do you come down here to fish, JT?
There's nothing like, on a cold and frosty morning, dangling your worm in the water.
JohnyTopaz, on October 6, said:
Hi who, no fish in here. The river is across the highway behind me, so the level of this little pond goes up and down with the river, but sometimes it is dry. Fishing is good in the river, though:)

very nice reflection...nice shot...Caterina.

Thank you for your visit and comment, caterina:)
Norrel, on October 9, said:
If there's no fish in here, you could try to catch frogs. Frog legs are considered a delicacy in France, so why not in Canada?
JohnyTopaz, on October 9, said:
Ha Ha - I haven't even seen a frog out west! Toads, maybe, but I wouldn't eat one of those...lol.
Nawitka, on October 24, said:
Nice view, looks like real good moose pasture! We haven't had frost yet, but it's coming soon I think.
We used to have lots of frogs when I lived here. We'd catch tadpoles for "pets". What's happened to them?
Mr. Van Bork, on October 24, said:
I had them in my sushi.
JohnyTopaz, on October 25, said:
mmmmmmmm Tadpoles in Sushi? Nawitka I haven't ever seen frogs out here that I can remember. I just assumed the tadpoles were for toads. I could be wrong, though, and there could be frogs. (I have been known to be wrong in the past, but being Dutch, it doesn't happen very often. Ask Norrel!)LOL

Oh, and just to make you feel better, we already had two weeks of winter the first two weeks of October with record lows. Back to regular fall weather this past week, though:)

Beautiful reflection, and contrast, Johny, and is it frost in the foreground? ( I have never seen any frogs in the 39 years I've lived in Saskatchewan.) Theolfa
JohnyTopaz, on November 16, said:
Thanks, Theolfa, and yes - frost in the foreground. Now I'm going to have to look into the population spread of frogs in Canada. Hmmm - another project:)
