Scott, thanks a lot for the visit.

Jeff, thanks a lot of the encouraging comment.

pivatana, thanks. This area had been part of Khao Yai National Park until some 40+ years ago people from Northeastern Thailand moved in and turned the jungle into plantations.

Ready to plow!

What about the trees and the bushes then Worapong? Is it possible to just leave them where they are? This looks so different from our "ready to plow" land. I hope this is not a stupid question, but I still like to know.

Your landscape shot is beautiful. Compliments from Ria!

Bye for now!

A lot of ploughing ahead!!!

ƤōƝƓ on October 4, 2009

Hello!

Ria, those trees are left over from the settlement 40-50 years ago. I will gradually show you "plowed" land.

No, it's not a stupid question. Because when I see European countryside, I also wonder what the farmers there do for a living too! :)

Raffaele, thank you! It is because the beginning of rainy season brings moisture and water to the plantation again. So trees, grass and weed turn green once again like spring time after a long dry season (winter and summer).

John, thanks a lot for your visit. :D

Fai, I'll show you how much they plowed later. :)

Best wishes, w☺rap☺ng《

ƤōƝƓ on October 4, 2009

Hi Rudolf, I really appreciate your visits and many compliments you kindly left here. To me, it's so phenomenal that a large number of friends from Germany take a lot of interests in Thailand. :)

Saturated green is common in Thailand during the beginning of rainy season.

Hola Domingo, thank you very much again for your praise. GRACIAS!!
