Thanks for comment, I would have liked better light though, those who say theres no 'good' or 'bad' light are talking nonsense.

In principal a photographer's delight but I agree that the light was a problem.Sometimes I crop the sky comletely out of the picture but that is not possible hear because of the chuch tower.Perhaps it is still possible to photshop a little pattern in the clouds and livenup the scene with the coloursection..I wonder why you did not have more comments on this picture.I like it very much dispite the bad light.

Greetings FEIKA

PS I want to see more of your work so I gave your gallery the golden star.

Thanks Feika your comments are always welcome and usually helpful too, I might try adding some sky detail to some of my other pictures of Le Puy en Velay. I still have a lot to learn about editing photographs but I have the software and I am experimenting.

Wow, I can't believe this is real, looks like something from Lord of The Rings!

Thank you Faintlightofdawn, Lignjar, Fande13 and Sayo. for your visit and votes.

Faintlightofdawn I couldnt agree more, its a spectacular sight. It wasnt our destination that day, we were driving from Valence (Rhone valley) to Rocamadour so we never had a lot of time, just long enough to take some quick snaps.
