Ask the cryptkeeper!
This is a wonderful series and a cryptic clue in the title maybe
Perhaps EGOR UNCHAINED knows the answer to this Nick ;>))
You've done a really nice job capturing this area. Is it your home or was this a visit? ... Bryan
mysterybay...greetings and thank you for leaving your lovely comments!!
Well this is no Mystery Bay ;>) excuse the pun !! In fact it is one of Yorkshire's most popular coastal villages and is steeped in history, lore and legend!! It is but a few miles from my home here in Whitby, yet another olde worlde fishing port on the east coast of the UK.
Many thanks for stopping by Bryan.. I enjoyed your feedback
Kind regards ;>)
Greetings and thank you Holger for your visit and nice comment ;>)
Lovely scene Jim!!!
Rodríguez Prati~~~My attention was drawn to the ornate elongated chimney..Many of the old houses had a small brick built out-house in the yard for the purpose of washing the dirty clothes.. Traditionally, in the UK, wash day was on a Monday!! A large copper coal fired cauldron was used to heat up the water, the smoke from the fire was drawn up the tall chimney. It was like this for our family when I was a child..HOW I HATED MONDAYS!! It was my job to light the fire, keep it going all day with coal and help mother operate the mangle, the poss stick and wash board!! Oh dear!!what a bad thing to remember!!
Good to see you Edmundo ;.)
