Stunning! We are known as "The Owls Family" and the house is full of Greek and Cretan Owls as they're considered to be lucky. I've got some interesting wildlife pics on my desktop. I'll upload onto my Panoramio site via my Laptop soon. Regards. Simon Howells

Thanks crbmoments and Patty

I would love to get this close to a 'wild' barn owl, this series of shots was taken at a falconry show. I do sometimes see them but its usually a fleeting glimpse at a distance. We do know where an Owl nests/feeds but we really need it to come out during daylight hours.

Patty Arsenault on July 4, 2010

Andrew, good luck getting a nocturnal bird to come out during the day. Even birds in captivity can be difficult to photograph nicely, especially those in flight. Hopefully you will have a chance to see and photograph one in the wild. Cheers, Patty
