beautiful shot Andrew! greetings camberwelle
Thank you Lamplighter and Camberwelle animal photos are my main interest so they mean a lot to me.
We are known as "The Owls Family" and the house is full of Greek and Cretan Owls as they're considered to be lucky.
I've got some interesting wildlife pics on my desktop.
I'll upload onto my Panoramio site via my Laptop soon.
I look forward to seeing them Simon Owls
Amazing shot! This is just a wonderful wonderful photo!
Andrew, excellent shot! Very nicely done! Cheers, Patty
Thanks crbmoments and Patty
I would love to get this close to a 'wild' barn owl, this series of shots was taken at a falconry show. I do sometimes see them but its usually a fleeting glimpse at a distance. We do know where an Owl nests/feeds but we really need it to come out during daylight hours.
Andrew, good luck getting a nocturnal bird to come out during the day. Even birds in captivity can be difficult to photograph nicely, especially those in flight. Hopefully you will have a chance to see and photograph one in the wild. Cheers, Patty
well done Andrew, great shot. greetings from camberwelle
