The neighbourhood at the centre of town didn't seem to mind when I dropped in at Norland, Ontario to get some shots of Gull River. I got as many smiles as stares when people saw me setting up my tripod for multiple shots. I suppose, if you have something this good beyond your back yard, it feels good to share it with the world! indyj@rogers.com

Thanks for noticing the new photos again. Quite right - It's those nameless and unpopulated places which help define a region, and Ontario has so many of these, like much of the rest of Canada. When I think of Ontario, I conjure up images of lakes, granite shores, and white pines, like in a Group of Seven painting.
