Very good photo, Keith, with the eye being nicely led into the vignette with the figures framed by the rock. Theolfa
Thanks Theolfa. It seemed such an obvious shot in a very popular location. I'm surprised I could only find one other shot on GE featuring the cave or "bridge". (Mine's better, of course ;) !!!!)
Well I had to rise to the challenge Keith and so I posted one from as close to the era of this one as I could, taken from almost exactly the same spot (OK, maybe a few paces backwards).
I love this place !
Nice one, Jethro! I now have my new scanner and I am learning how to get the best results. I took a series of shots around the Gower on two separate visits late 70s and early 80s. I have had to view the photos on GE in order to find the locations of some of them.
I remember the coastline being quite spectacular.
I also enjoy researching them and the Pano community have been exceptional at helping me locate many of them. Many of my Pyrenean pictures I got some great and local help with plus one from the south of the UK. Sometimes I think the research is the best part!
Great shot! I love how you have captured the silhouette of the child playing in the sand in the cavern.
Many thanks joyfotos. This place is quite amazing with craggy cliffs, usually populated with climbers; wide and flat sandy beaches; shimmering sea. The photo opportunities were many. It was a short visit and I am glad I got quite a few "keepers".
