Taken on the Riprap/Wildcat Ridge trail along the Skyline Drive, a bit over a mile from the Riprap Trail parking area (MP 90).

Thanks for the comments! Yes, I did the Riprap/Wildcat loop. I left my bike at the Wildcat Ridge parking area, drove to the Riprap parking area, then hiked the trail back to Wildcat and biked along the Drive back to my car. If you hike the whole loop (returning on the AT) it's about 9 miles total; it's 6.7 I believe if you go out to the swimming hole (highly recommended!) and back. It took me about 4 hours to do, although I spent a lot of time scrambling on rocks along the stream, eating lunch by one of the falls, and going swimming. The trail is in good condition, not very rocky at all. I just recommend bringing a change of clothes (or wearing something that dries quickly) so you can swim. And yes, I have been to Blackrock before, quite a fun scramble! I also went up to Wintergreen this weekend and found the Plunge overlook; your picture was beautiful but it was even more amazing than I expected!
