Listen carefully dear Nick, I have just had an email from Adrian, vis a vis:

1) whether Jensen Button is now World Champion:

2) who was first, second and third:

3) where Rubens Barrichelo finished:

4) where Jenson Button finished:

5) where Sebastian Vettel finished:

6) if he is not World Champion, what Jensen Button's lead now is:

It is my task of the day to find this information, and if I don't .... I'm toast!

Amelia Royan ~ I shall say this only once:

J B is World Champion ~ yippee

Mark Webber won it Kubica was second and young Lewis Hamilton third

Jesen finished fifth and Vettel I think was fourth

Phew ... you've saved my bacon, and I remain a white slice of Mother's Pride! I have had a look, and voted for, some of your photos in the National Trust contest - very nice they are too if I may say!

I somehow think, but I could be wrong - it has been known, that the NT doesn't have any properties in Norway, and I don't have any photos of NT properties in England .... it may well be too late ;-)

Amelia Royan ~ Nah ~ get out there with your camera LGM there must be some NT near to wherever you are hiding away from M at ~ at the moment :) go on gal give it a spin :)))) LP Omar~coo

Enrique Ortiz de Zár… on December 8, 2009

Hi Nick, this picture has caught my attention because I see a face in its center. I would say this is the face of a bearded man, mouth open, a patch over his right eye, like pirates, and wearing a sky blue jacket. I think you've caught the face of autumn. YS. Greetings

Sarah O on December 8, 2009

NICK I see that face too!! but mostly in the thumbnail...Isn't that odd....did you see it Nick ? Sarah

Nick Weall on December 8, 2009

Enrique Ortiz de Zár… ~ I see a face with a white beard and golden hair just up and left of dead centre ~ maybe the same face as you spot and maybe not ~ I had not noticed it before :)) The face of Autumn it must be and thank you for the Golden Star Enrique

Sarah O ~ Well you must read what I write to Enrique above dearest Queen of the Cakes ~ I was very good at scaring myself seeing faces in the woods when very young ~ looking out of my bedroom window but... I missed this one :)

Most friendly greetings to you both ~ Ciao nick

robert manz on December 8, 2009

well nick I went looking for the old man left of center, but first I saw what appears to me as a real person, right of dead center a little up, I see a young woman, blond hair, presumably on the path in front of the tree. Maybe just seeing what I want to see. Fun to view this again. Best regards, robert

Nick Weall on December 8, 2009

robert manz ~ Well Robert ~ I went back to the original of this shot and blew it up to 100%, then 200%, and finally 300% ~ ~ No blonde ~ no girl ~ no nobody :((

So I think yes there is plenty of opportunity here to she what you wish ~ :)) Good to hear from you and best wishes to you from nick
