Zoom in to see the background flowers, too.
Thanks, Roberto, Wells is a lovely little city. Theolfa
Wonderful place, Theolfa! What is it exactly? And I'm wondering how you pronounce "Wells". Is it like Wales? cheers, archrodney!
Thanks, Archrodney! Wells rhymes with 'bells', 'tells', 'sells' and it is a city with a beautiful cathedral and other nice pieces of architecture, which I will post sometime soon. Wells can also be deep holes bored into the ground to find water or oil. Cheers! Theolfa
Hm, thanks for the explanation, Theolfa! Then I pronounce Wales like Wells. :D Nice cathedral indeed. cheers, archrodney!
If you zoom in you will see that this is the National Trust building and not the cathedral, Archrodney. I will now post the real cathedral. Cheers! Theolfa
It is a lovely building and a gorgeous photo! I like the bright flowers and the modern car. Lets us know what time period we are in! :)
Hi, JF! Wells is the smallest city in England, and a city has to have a cathedral. Wells cathedral is dated 1180AD, so I'm presuming that this National trust building dates from around that time, but I may be wrong. I'll post photos of the Bishop's palace next, and recommend tha tourists visit Somerset and Wells, if at all possible. Theolfa
Nice composition,good photo,Sonja
Thank you very much, Sonja! Cheers! Theolfa
