Archrodney, be sure to take a photo when it arrives, so I know it got there safely, OK? Theolfa

I love this one Theolfa. I wonder how that was made !

Great sculpture, even to the pretty dished nose of what is obviously a purebred Arabian. You choose a good angle to show this off, Theolfa!

Theolfa on January 7, 2010

Thanks, Nawitka! You caused me to zoom x 2 to see what a dished nose is, but I still don't know :D I think Calgary should get this sculptor to make one for the city. Your gallery is so good I need time to browse it, and I look forward to doing that. Theolfa

That's very kind of you, Theolfa! The dished face refers to the profile of the head; an inward curve between the eyes and the tip of the nose. I've found some examples for you here (off site).

A sculpture like this would be very admired in Calgary, particularly if if were of a classy-looking cutting horse or barrel-racer.

Hi, Wow, that's beautiful. Is it actually in the Eden Project? I enjoyed your gallery, many thanks. Rosa.

Theolfa on November 29, 2010

Hi, Rosa! Heather Jansch is the sculptor of this beautiful horse which I saw at the Eden Project, and on her website you can see many more. Thank you for visiting my gallery and I'm glad that you browsed it! Cheers! Theolfa

Hello, Alfred! Thank you very much! The translation is excellent, and I agree with what you have written. When I get a two word repetitive comment, and find that the writer enters contests, I am insulted. I delete that person's comment. Your comment made it obvious that you had examined my photo carefully before commenting, as I do when I make a statement. I am also retired and this is my hobby. I am happy you visited. Best wishes from Regina, Canada. Theolfa
