there is something about this portrait that touches me. maybe because its autum; the ladies also are somehow in the autum of their lives; they wear jackets inside the house!?; and they forget about everything around them, when they'r talking. even about the photographer. and this bright green counterpoint to the rest of the scenery just outside the window. somehow odd. very good!

I love this deeply reflective comment, zwetkoff. Thank you!!! It was a really cold day, but you are right, the jacket wearing was odd, and I hadn't really thought about it. This is the small anteroom off an old drafty Church, so I guess they felt the cold...
I like how older people really are less self-conscious (like children) or rather as you say, they never even saw me! Thank you again. I will visit your gallery later tonight, too. I know I have before and I loved the humour in your gallery. Warm Regards from New Zealand, jacqui

Thank you my friend! These three are ones I've reconsidered and like more the second time around... I'm trying to get present creativity happening again, but another four day road/tennis trip from Friday with about 20 hours driving across plateaus and mountains. I need more social gatherings like this one above, to get some nice people shots! Ohhh life on the road........

ok I put a gold star to this one, it's just deep and great stuff. But in return I won't EVEN open the next one. I 'll soon create a Comity Against Terribly Stupid Cat Pictures On Panoramio, Catstop!

You encourage me, Olivier!!!!! I thank you for the star though, really :)), but Committee Against Terribly Stupid (CATS) Terrorising on Panoramio (CATSTOP) might be a fairer comment from you ;) By the way, your directions to me to Durun's page led to one of my more embarrassing Panoramio moments to date. I thought it was just a funny old semi-clad guy, and so I gave him a STAR!!!!!
