Really nice detail, Marilyn. It's a perfect catch!
What a lovely setting for this delicate parasol! Such lovely colors!
Charming picture! Compliments. Janina
A fantastic macro shot Marilyn! I took a few fungi shots myself last weekend but I wasn't very pleased with them all the ones I came across had been half eaten or trampled on :( This one is being tucked away in my faves!
A 'best of' from me to you Marilyn. I like the cute baby pictures too.
Thank you, n1w, joyphotos, Janina, Sam, and Bruce, with special thanks to Sam and Bruce for the honours.
This was on the far side of a fallen log beside the path, so it was in no danger of being trampled. But I'm definitely not as supple as I used to be, and the angle was awkward, so I feel lucky to have captured this before the sun moved (well, actually the earth), leaving the little mushroom in a shadow.
What a little beauty! Mushrooms are very hard to shoot for those of us who don't bend like we used to. :)
Beautiful. Love this.
Nice macro. Cheers, Christian
These little toadstools are delightful Marilyn, and this one does resemble a parasol fit for the best cocktail. I found some lovely fungi 4 weeks ago at Hålandsvatnet in Norway, I expect they have all gone now!
Greetings from Norway, Amelia
Great macro! What a terrific shot! The blur in the background and the great focus make this an attractive photo! This fungi almost looks like and umbrella! The lighting is marvelous!
Love the photo
