Very convincing geometry, Marilyn! Do you know what it is?

I saved it into my favourits!

Warm regards,

Dear Marilyn,

I saw the image and was about to comment on the geometry, but you have named it accordingly. It deserves to be on the front cover of Rural Life Magazine.

What a SPLENDID Silo shot, Marilyn! The arrangement is most amusing, as I think you've managed to include every surface, angle, line and texture! How delightful. The colors are so attractive as well. Perfect composition on this! It really grabs one's attention right from the get go.

Wishing you a wonderful Friday,

Mary Alice

Belated thanks, Karl, Hank, Margot, Ian, Conquilha, and Mary Alice, and thank you, too, joyfotos.

Karl, silos like this have been used extensively in some parts of North America to make and store feed for farm animals. The whole green plant (including corn = maize), not just the grain, is put into it to ferment.

The rest of you know my love of angles and geometric forms like cylinders, and also rich colors, so you understand why I just had to take this picture even though I have plenty of other silo photos. This one was just waiting to be photographed while other members of the family went into the farm market store to buy jam!
