It's the corner of a building. The Hancock Tower is a 60-storey office block.
I like the abstract appearance, which I heightened a bit by increasing the brightness and contrast to give a very simple black and white image.

Thanks Bo. I sometimes think that colour can distract from a simple image. For example, this had a slightly washed out sky and looked a bit dull. I think the mono work-over has added something to it, rather than just take away the colour.
