This was my second hive and I did not have much experience then, but I was lucky and the new bees just walk up the ciment block and into the new hive. When you shake them off a branh the bees don't fly away, they fall to the ground and walk up the nearest hive. The thing is that before they leave the older hive because there was two queen, they fill up their belly with honey, and when their belly is full of honey they are very gentle and they can't sting, and if the queen fals to the ground and goes to tne new hive, all the bees will follow her into the hive.

Hi Chislain, looks very familiar to me. I used to have bees myself too. But in the Netherlands you may not keep them to close to other people. We also have to travel with the bees because they can't get nectar enough in the city areas. And recently we had some strange diseases here. Some bee-keepers lost almost 90% of there hives. And now we have some problems with pollination. Bees are very important insects. Lots of people are only afraid of there sting and don't even kwow the difference with wasps. Let hope that more people realise the importance of these fascinating insects.
This most tasteful honey comes from this plant
Greetings, Wim

What is the name of the plant Wim,??? You are right to say that bees are very important, without pollinators the world would starve, and pollnation is not only from bees, don't forget the butterflys and all kind of other insects. As far as I am concern I believe that everything is important and has its purpose in this world. People that are afraid of things or hate them it's because they don't understand. Ignorance is the culprit and we better smart up as the human race if we want to survive. Sorry for the long episode, when I get started up I am very hard to stop. I have to stop right here....Thank you for your visit, nice comments and the chat, it was all very pleasant.Have a great day. Cheers..GHISLAIN.☻
