Het kleine dorpje Nikia, zie de kaart, is boven tegen de kraterwand gebouwd. ca. 50 mensen wonen daar. Het woord Nikia betekent: "onoverwinnelijk". Een best begrijpelijk gevoel als je daar woont.

Nikia heeft modelgestaan voor Nike dus betekent..... Gradus

Thanks Yemtas. As I explaned above, on the rim of the krater is situated a tiny village about 50 dwellers. The name of the village is Nikia. Nike has changed this name a bit because the mening of Nikia (read Nike)= unconquerable
