This is amazing! I believe the last stork left our country in the mid sixties. No wetlands left, nor frogs. But a lot of wealthy farmers on rich crops.

As far as I know, it's their only way of living Dave. I think the "slough" south of Faro contains much sweetwater too, from the rivers upstream.
