Hey Petra - don't you see him behind that tree? They are going to turn this wood into a Center Parcs soon so we won't be able to walk through anymore. Very sad. Ciao William

Hi Herb _ it was a lovely morning - unfortunately Center Parcs have got planning permission to build all over this and the footpath will be diverted to run along a noisy road. The planning inspector through the application out but was overturned by the politicians. Enjoy it whilst it lasts...
Cheers WIlliam

It's gut-wrenching to read that their days are numbered, William. I was so enjoying sinking into this photo- could feel the cool, damp air and hear a few birds echoing in among the trees. I could even smell the bracken, and now I can hardly look. It must be a bitter sweet experience for you to walk there. Money is the root of an awful lot of stuff ups, isn't it?
All the best to you, William. I bet you are taking some more pictures of all that heavy snow you've had over there and I hope you aren't one of the unfortunates battling against the elements.
Sue
